You have about 3 seconds to capture attention. For static cards, make them count:

  • Bold typography — use a single large word or short phrase as a visual anchor
  • High contrast — ensure text stands out against the background
  • White space — don't crowd the design; let the message breathe

For videos, the first 2 seconds are even more critical:

Every piece of content should have a purpose:

For static cards:

For videos:

  • "Follow for more daily quotes" — great for Reels and TikTok
  • "Comment your favorite line" — drives conversation
  • "Share this with someone who needs encouragement" — increases reach

Place the CTA at the end of your video, with enough time for viewers to read it before the loop ends.
